The lesson to be learned when surviving a street fight.

After every event this week, we add Kumite (sparring) and Randori (Free responses) to the training; I will post the safety equipment need for training. We also go over stress and anger management in combat.

I made a mistake this week, and I didn’t seriously hurt just black eye, but I made a critically tactical mistake in a real fight; we need to learn from this mistake not to get caught in emotion and lose sight of proper tactics.

If we fight and don’t end up in the hospital or dead, we need to analyze our mistakes and correctly through training; so the next time, we don’t make that mistake.

I have analyzed my mistakes and made notes; now, we train to get better.

Too many martial artists lose faith in style; training; and art when things don’t go their way. Instead, looking at the mistakes they made, if you survive they you work on getting better; not every fight will go your blog way because I lost control of myself and missed openings made by their mistakes, I earning a black eye. The kami and universe give lessons to learn; the question is will you know and understand.

This is the way of martial arts.
